Today’s post continues on yesterday’s post on the shipwreck at Cannon Rocks on the Sunshine Coast. It rained three out of the seven days we were at Cannon Rocks and I was a bit worried that I may not get a sunset to photograph. Seeing that the evening had good prospects, I headed down the beach to the shipwreck to wait for sunset.
When I got there I thought this scene with the kelp gulls in the foreground and the fisherman in the background made for a nice picture. The gulls stayed just long enough for me to line it up and get the shot.
what absolutely beautiful photos!
What luck with the seagulls ! the sunset is beautiful, just beautiful, lovely wreck reflections, this is certainly a perfect place to be.
Amazing, well done on that last photo, not one you can capture very easily…I would be thrilled as well if I had taken theseDo you enter your pics on the facebook group photography weekly competitions.I do if I have photo’s of the current theme…you should take a look, some fantastic ideas there as well.
Love it – great composition, the colours came out great and the way the sun back lights the wreck works just perfectly. Well worth the effort!
Wow – awesome!! (thought I’d use a different word – as I always use beautiful – but they are beautiful!)
I so love your photos – especially the one with the fisherman and the seagulls. That is amazing – oooooh! I am frustrated – I wish I was more “arty” with my photos!!
That photograph of the three gulls lined up, the shipwreck and the fishherman in the background is an absolute prize winner. It looks as if the fisherman has caught the shipwreck, and he is reeling it in. And the shipwreck looks like a big old spiny fish. Truly incredible!
Great shots – and you are so lucky the seagulls “posed” for you!
Ah… such wonderful captures!!! I really love the first iamge with the three seagulls – how cool – as if they were posing for you!!! and lovely detail of the wreck and the fisherman!!! Nice!!Gena @ Thinking Aloud
