Tsitsikamma National Park

The Tsitsikamma National Park is definitively one of my absolute favorite places on the Garden Route. It is a awesome park with such contrast and natural beauty, its hard to find anything better anywhere else. Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles can be found on the Atlantic Seaboard of the Cape Peninsula. It forms part of the Table Mountain range and overlooks Camps Bay. The Atlantic Seaboard is one of Cape Towns most sought after and expensive areas and is very popular with both locals as well as holiday makers. One problem though... the water is c..c..c..cold...

I haven't taken much photos over the last couple of weeks so I've very much run out of new stuff to show. Knysna Sunset

The Knysna Heads is one of the best know landmarks on the Garden Route. The sea pushes into the Knysna Lagoon through the Heads, which is short for headlands. The Eastern Head has a very - and I mean VERY - upmarket residential area on it, while the Western Head is a protected area called Featherbed Nature Reserve. Rhodes Memorial

One of my favorite spots in Cape Town is the Rhodes Memorial on the slopes of Table Mountain. The monument was erected in memory of Cecil John Rhodes (1853 - 1902). Rhodes was an English born South African businessman, mining magnate and politician. He was Prime Minister of the Cape Colony from 1890 and Rhodesia (today Zimbabwe and Zambia) was named after him. Ostrich Farms in Oudtshoorn district

Yesterday we got as far as Mossel Bay. From there to Cape Town you drive through the Overberg which is mainly farming country and not much else. If you cross the Outeniqua Mountains from Mossel Bay (on the Robertson Pass) and George (on the Outeniqua Pass) you get to the Klein Karoo.
