Now you see it…

I haven’t taken much photos over the last couple of weeks so I’ve very much run out of new stuff to show. So as I always do when this happens I revert to my stock and look for pics that I’ve never shown. I’ve found some Cape Town pics that will keep me busy for the next couple of days and hopefully by then I will have something new to show.

Table Mountain seen on a clear day from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town

I have posted this pic at some stage before, but without it I can’t show the next one in this context.

Table Mountain as not seen on a cloudy day from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

The weather in Cape Town can change drastically from day to day and it is very possible to have a day like the one on the top one day and a day like the second one the next. Sometimes it even happens in one day. When you visit Cape Town for a couple of days and plan to visit Table Mountain, my advice is to go at the first opportunity because a second one may not present itself.

Ooh lots to see in your previous post! My first visit to London was exactly a year ago (3rd June) and I LOVED it. P and I spent a week walking, catching trains, tubes and did the Big Bus tour and river cruise! LOVED it!! Loads of photos – then we spent a week near Bath – still loads more photos!! We hired a car and drove around the English countryside – LOVED it! Maybe I should do blogs about some the places we saw?! CT – I will be in Cape Town on thurs!! So our view of Table Mountain will be the second one!!! 🙁 Hubby and a colleague are going on business and I am going too! Somerset West first to see my Mum and then once their business is finished we are going wine tasting!!! Doesn’t matter about the weather then, hey?!

I couldn’t agree with you more! Never waste a good day! I love CT and WISH I was going on Thursday. Haven’t been in a while. I hear the weather was awful this week-end, but then it is winter and it’s time! LOL! What difference does the weather make if there’s lots of red wine and warm fires! Have a good week! 🙂

  5. It’s amazing how the weather can take a change so quickly. It seems that on waterfronts this is typical on some areas of the coasts. Very nice capture in the pics. Thanks for sharing.
