Skies over Table Mountain

Last week for Skywatch I showed you some shots of sunset from Signal Hill. This week I think I’ll show you a couple more photos of the skies above Table Mountain and the Mother City, Cape Town.

The right hand side of the flat section that forms Table Mountain. Right at the end of the flat section the upper cable car station is visible.

Table Mountain at sunset as seen from the road to Signal Hill.

For tons of awesome sky photos from all over the globe, head over to Skywatch for a treat.

Such dramatic scenery, it just begs to be photographed. I really, really love the second picture (though the first one is also quite stunning). The colours are lovely and I like the way the cloud is just starting to creep over the mountain. Beautiful!

I love visiting your blog. When I was a little girl, my mother used to talk about all these wonderful places, and now I can see real, love photographs of them. I would love to see Table Mountain one day!I have some beaded jewelry too, that my mother had. I took it out and look at it after I read your post about it. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?You’re very lucky to live there!Cheers,Jo
