Wilderness

I have always said that if my boat had to come in I would one day retire in Wilderness on the Garden Route. Somewhere against the hillside from where I can see the ocean, mountains, lakes and beaches of this beautiful area. Wilderness is a nice central base from where visitors can explore the Southern Cape and Garden Route and if one needs to get away from the hustle bustle of life there are forests, lakes and rivers all within a stone’s throw. Now if the salvage team can just get my boat off that reef somewhere…

Aha, now now I understand, that is a very dodgy enterance to the harbour, and the Elephants, I can see the problems there. What a shame about the train bridge that must have been a photographers must do ride !!Your posts today are beautiful what I wouldnt give to be on that beach, it looks so tempting, we are huddled round a log fire its bloomin’ freezin’ here 🙁

What a beautiful beach! It reminds me of a beach called Long Beach on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, and it is wild too, with rain forest and few visitors.
