[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuTKcAdzXgY&w=500&h=400]The past two weeks have been hectic.  I've been to the SATSA conference in Stellenbosch and a Karoo Heartland meeting in Jansenville, spent way too much time catching up (and I'm not even there yet) and in the process of all of this missed a few posts in the last week.  I even thought about just taking a break for a few weeks but then realised that somewhere I'll have to catch up again. [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBfPkYiARHs&w=500&h=400]While looking around YouTube in search of a video to post for this week's Video Friday post I came across this one featuring video footage from the late 50's and 60's. Not a lot of vintage footage like this around.

Dolphins of Port Elizabeth video

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_K90dB3ZAo&w=500&h=400]Port Elizabeth and Algoa Bay isn't called the Bottlenose Dolphin Capital of the World for nothing.  I picked up on this video posted by Judy Venter on YouTube which Judy filmed off the pier from her kayak.  Amazing seeing these animals so close up in the wild.
