Recently one of our readers, Alan, kindly invited us to visit the Algoa Bay Yacht Club and take photos there. Well, we took him up on his offer yesterday, and had a wonderful time, snapping a ridiculous amount of photos (yachts and water are SO photogenic!) So over the coming weeks you will no doubt see many shots from that sunset cruise. To start us off, here is the yacht club seen behind some of its residents!

I cannot wait to see those beautiful sunset pictures. The yacht yard looks full. Good post.
Oooooohhh! That’s great! Can’t wait to see the rest. Beautiful colors in today’s photo. So cheerful :).
Very nice pic. I’m surprised harbour security allowed you into the harbour with your camera. LOL
My pleasure to have you visiting Sue and Max.”Feel free to come again,” he says, slowly reeling you in :-)mmmm Security and Cameras – I notice many people signing in as ‘James Bond’, ‘Robin Banks’, and other less salubrious names. The funniest one was when a fellow club member ahead of me in the queue signed in as me!Look out for our ‘This is Sailing’ weekend open to the general public on the 23rd and 24th of February 2008.
Andrea and Fenix, never fear, my middle name is “lead-finger” once it gets on the camera shutter release i can’t lift it! So there are TONS of pics in the pipeline! (actually I’m kidding, but Max does call me “lead-foot” due to a tendency to press rather hard on the accelerator pedal when driving!Firefly, ya, that security story is something else, what a pain!hey alan, LOL. i suspect it might be easier to reel us in than you think, we LOVED it! open weekend sounds cool!
