A couple of fishing boats lying at anchor in Algoa Bay at sunrise. The boats normally come into the bay to seek shelter when there is a strong wind being forcasted.

Evening lighthouse moods
We camped out at Cape St Francis over Easter weekend for three nights and one of the missions that I set for myself was to get a nice Seal Point Lighthouse picture at sunset.I missed sunset on the first evening to say the least. Knysna Sunset
The Knysna Heads is one of the best know landmarks on the Garden Route. The sea pushes into the Knysna Lagoon through the Heads, which is short for headlands. The Eastern Head has a very - and I mean VERY - upmarket residential area on it, while the Western Head is a protected area called Featherbed Nature Reserve. Signal Hill Sunset

Solar Eclipse
This morning we had the rare skyward event of a solar eclipse. It was something I've been looking forward to for a while, but when I got up this morning I was very disappointed to see that it was very misty. But I was hopeful. Canon Rocks sunset

Wreck at sunset
Today's post continues on yesterday's post on the shipwreck at Cannon Rocks on the Sunshine Coast. It rained three out of the seven days we were at Cannon Rocks and I was a bit worried that I may not get a sunset to photograph.
