St Georges Park Cricket Ground

The Duckpond Pavilion of the St Georges Park Cricket Ground in Port Elizabeth seen from one of the walkways leading into the park. St Georges is home to the Chevrolet Warriors (the South African domestic limited over and Pro20 champions) and is one of the four host stadia for the upcoming Champions League Pro20 tournament.

  1. I have only briefly passed through PE when driving the Garden Route. This stadium looks magnificent. We only get to see the inside when cricket is on. Thanks for this one. Diane

    Good balanced photo! Nice colours! We must stop by one day (on one of our 'retirement' trips) – am sure hubby would love to see it – he used to play lots of cricket – school, clubs etc.

    It is a really nice looking building, but I see that some vagrants have now taken up residence under the eaves.BTW do you remember that many of the Art in the Park traders used to trade down there, against the wall of the old pavillion, before this one was built?
