The sour fig grows quite easy and being a succulent they can survive well even in dry conditions. This one I found on the coast on the Sacramento Trail outside Port Elizabeth.

I really enjoy visiting the Sacramento Trail and I always wondered what those flowers were! I'm not very good at knowing the names of the different plants! Glad I know now!

Beautiful colour! It is so hard to capture insects… just earlier I was trying to snap a bumble bee then a butterfly on a buddlea 🙂
