Lily bees

We went on a strategic session for work to a guesthouse just outside Port Elizabeth the other day. During one of the breaks I chased bees around the lilies in the garden to try and get some nice shots. I could see some of my colleagues watching me in amusement, but I’m used to that by now.

Those are beautiful – so clear, and the colours are bright. The stamens look as though they have been dipped in a pot of yellow hundreds and thousands!

Great macros Jonker, can even see the pollen. And I really like seeing the shadows also. It's OK to be Crazy!

  8. Awesome clarity – so very well captured… not sure if you know/ are aware – but the lilies are arums (or calla as known overseas)…Gena @ Thinking Aloud
