Icing on the Cake

I love this wonderfully maintained old building which is just round the corner from our house. It was a gracious mansion at one time, but is now used as offices. This kind of decorative detail always reminds me of cake icing!

It’s interesting how much pleasure we get from a well-maintained environment. The building is great!I want to thank you for visiting my blog and for sharing your city with us; that has given me a great deal of pleasure, too. It is my hope that you and your family enjoy the holidays and that 2008 is very kind to you, bringing much joy, good health, and happiness in large measure.
