A little while ago the team from SABC 2 show Pasella was in Port Elizabeth to shoot a couple of stories, one involving vintage cars. Here the cars used for the insert are lined up at one of the lookout spots along Marine Drive. This specific insert will be aired on 21 November on SABC 2 between 19:30 and 20:30 some time. Some of these look like the cars I just posted about.
Aah – my Alpha Male would LOVE it.
I'd never heard of this museum – but I know my late father would have LOVED it. Always good to see people doing something a little out of the ordinary in PE 🙂
Wow! Now, I feel the urge to visit the St Croix Motor Museum with my brother! He is so much into vintage cars. In fact, he’s inherited a Tin Lizzie from our grandfather, and he treats it so much like his own baby. I’m sure that this place will be a paradise for him!
Sweet rides!
I kept my eyes peeled for this insert after seeing id advertised here, and what an interesting piece! Motor museums seem to be quite the craze – we have a good number in Cape Town as well.
Oh darn, I wish I caught the insert when it aired! These beautiful vintage pieces definitely deserve to be shown on TV. To me, they are a mark of human cleverness and intelligence, especially when you consider how far cars have come since these models first came out.

See you next year, St. Croix Motor Museum! 😀 I really can’t wait to visit this gallery of vintage cars on February. Hihi! I’ve heard that the museum houses about 80 cars dating back to the start of the 20th century; and I’m just a vintage baby so this is really the place to be! :’>
“It does have a certain “Ooohhhhh” factor having so many classics under one roof.”—- ABSOLUTELY! Seeing the classics is really amazing! It’s like traveling back in time to witness those magnificent cars of the older generations! These vintages are truly a must-see!
