The Wheel of Excellence (or just Waterfront Big Wheel as most people refer to it) at the V&A Waterfront has become a favorite activity for visitors in Cape Town to do. The surrounding view of the Waterfront and city from the top is stunning. My last visit to Cape Town was a brief one and there wasn't time for a trip, but I did snap this pic of it on a walk through the Waterfront before heading to dinner.
The Hinterveld Mohair Mill Tour in Uitenhage is not your normal run of the mill (excuse the pun) tour, but visitors go there expecting one thing and leaving with a whole different impression. Driving from the uShaka International Airport to Durban along the coastal (Umhlanga) road, the African themed Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom is visible on the hillside. I didn't have time to look around the casino but did take a drive up to the entrance before I had to be on my way again. There are some beautiful coastal views from up there. Sibaya is one of two licenced casinos in Durban and if you do decided to visit it, gamble responsibly.
