Empty highway

Some abandoned highway somewhere after the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse?  Nope, the N2 just past Coega, taken from the overpass at just the right time to show an empty road.

Karoo mountain road

A weekend or two ago I found myself spending a night at Mount Camdeboo Game Reserve outside Graaff-Reinet before an early morning meeting.  What is spending time on a game reserve without a game drive so we headed out for a drive late afternoon.  The road took us right into the mountains on the reserve and how can one not prefer this over the busy rush of city traffic?

Humble Ways Road

This afternoon I went for a drive up to Humble Ways private nature reserve on Lovemore Heights.  It wasn't that I wanted to go for a walk, I just wanted to drive down the track to the gate through the vegetation tunnel around the track.

Sunset is getting earlier
