Looking down Upper Hill Street in Central one can see a couple of old historic settler houses dating from the mid 1800’s on the left and some of the high rise (high rise in PE terms) buildings in the city centre.
A delightful scene. It just says so much about the beautiful part of the world you call home… That lamppost is adorable. I hope you’ll do a lamppost series one day.
fenix, what a great idea, i have a thing about lamp posts (and lighthouses) and have tons of pix of them, and there is quite a variety around here. Will follow that up sometime!
By the way, please excuse the lack of visits and comments lately. Things are a bit crazy around here at the moment, with builders and looming art exhibition etc, and we are just managing to keep up with the daily posts, but don’t have much time for socialising… however we’ll be back as soon as normality returns!
this is one of my favourite streets. there are some beautiful houses on it. I used to work in the high rise at the bottowm so drove down it every day for nearly 2 years. It does seem that the closer I got to work the worse the street became though….
