Forest lily

The forest lily grows up to half a meter high with leaves up to 45 x 7 centimetres. It flowers in July to September before turning into inflated capsules containing the fruit. They are normally found in coastal bush in the south east of South Africa and grow in light shade. This one lives in a pot next to my pool.
