Today’s post are all shots of new tree fern shoots. I love ferns and specially tree ferns. These I took in front of the hotel I stayed at in Johannesburg recently, but for me there is nothing like seeing a great tree fern growing inside an indigenous forest.

I hadn't realized how beautifully designed these are before. Wow.. I know people who pick these ferns when they are just coming up and starting to curl. They batter and deep fry them. I haven't tried them but I hear they are good.
Ooh, I love these! They always look like they are about to leap from their branches and start walking about!
