Beer Yard tasters
Last week I joined Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism and Gecko Tours on the inaugural Port Elizabeth Hop on Beer Route Tour. Sunday lunch at Blackbeard’s
The Damselfly is busy getting ideas for their office Christmas lunch at the end of the year so we went to try out Blackbeard's Restaurant at the Chapman Hotel as part of her research. Drinks overlooking the pool
On Saturday during Ironkids at the McArthur pool complex my eye kept on wandering to the folk having drinks on the deck at Cubana. It must be one of the best spots for a drink with its view of the pools and Kings Beach beyond.

Trying new menu items at Fratelli Foods
A couple of weeks ago I had to meet a friend of mine for a business breakfast and she suggested we go to the newly opened Fratelli Foods in the Lower Baakens Valley. 10 not to miss activities, restaurants and accommodation in the Tsitsikamma
Ahh, the Tsitsikamma..... My favorite Sho't Left destination for a couple of days' breakaway. Beautiful indigenous forests to sooth my soul, mountains on the horizon, streams running past ancient indigenous trees and forest giants to a rugged coastline where the blue ocean crashes as white waves on black rocks at the foot of sheer cliffs.
