Drama Princess in Wonderland
One of the favourite scenes in Happy Valley is the one of Alice in Wonderland. Drama Princess decided to head down the rabbit hole, chomped on a biscuit and drank a potion before going to hang out with the Cheshire Cat.

This week is probably the busiest week there is for Port Elizabeth. Thousands of holiday makers descend on the city over the school holidays with the week between Christmas and New Year being the peak of peak season. As I have a special place in my heart for Happy Valley and the fact that a lot of effort was done to get Happy Valley back as close to its former glory as possible, I have decided to dedicate a mini…
One of the snaps from my walk up Happy Valley the other day. Two of the Three Little Pigs reflecting in the Shark River flowing through the valley.
One of the things that irritate me most are people who goes around pretending to be so passionate about Port Elizabeth but uses every opportunity they get to ridicule, belittle and critisise it around every corner. The little girl riding the hoop jumping dolphin is probably the best known Happy Valley character seeing that it can be found in the pond right next to the big grassy area on the way to the beach. Most people would think of Happy Valley as a place to go to in the evenings during summer when all the colourful lights are on, but I have found that it can be just as rewarding during the day when you can see lots of…
Happy Valley has always been a very popular spot for both young and old especially during the summer season when the lights are on in the evenings. I went down not too long ago to see what it looks like these days. Although there were one or two of the characters that were damaged the area in a whole was in good nick and looking beautiful. Its a pity that more and more people don't go there anymore due to the perception…
