I am interrupting my posts on Germany to announce the birth of my Brother’s baby yesterday. Baby Jacques Ryan was born at 16:00 on Sunday, 24 May 2009.
So here is the catch. Little Jacques Ryan decided to make his arrival known right in the middle of the stork party at 6 weeks premature… with dad 400 km away on business. My Boet got the call just as he was settling into his guest house in Mossel Bay and was only due back on Thursday. He jumped into his car and got to the hospital at 9 last night. 4 hours post birth.
Ag SIES tog, arme klein dingetjie!! Baie geluk aan broer en baie sterkte, ek hoop hy word vinnig groot en sterk!
Ah, he is a cutie pie! Welcome to the world little Jacques! Reminds me of Connor’s birth – 5 weeks prem and also hooked up to a wall full of pipes and tubes for a bit … and now look at him!!
congrats Uncle 🙂 I hope he spends a really short time in NICU… that’s the worst thing ever 🙁
Congratulations to you and your family! The professionals in these Neonatal Intensive Care Unit’s are fantastic, I’ve seen their work first hand, little Jacques is in good hands…may he be a blessing to you all :o)
Congrats! I hope his stay at NICU is a short one.
Congrats! What a little sweetie pie! I love babies – sorry that your Boet missed the experience and I hope the visit in NICU is a short one
