Even though I have a nifty little panorama setting on my camera I don’t always do a lot of panorama photos. The reason for this is mainly because the photo often looks a bit distorted if the horizon is a flat one. Standing at one of the lookout spots overlooking the town of Montagu surrounded by beautiful mountains and summer fruit orchards (peach and apricot), I decided to give it a shot. The result encouraged me to take a couple more on our holiday which I will still post. Click on the picture to see an enlarged version.

Stunning panoramic photo!
That's a great pano of a stunning view. I really like to take panos but never use the feature on my camera, just line them up and let the computer stitch them together.
Gorgeous! I must really learn to use my panoramic function….
Really nice pano! I think you nailed it on this one. You are right, they are tricky at times. I need to remember to visit you much more often, cuz you do great work, fun to read and it is summer. We have flooding around our house. 🙂
Wow – one of the best panoramas I've seen I'm a while. I still remember cutting and pasting together physical prints to try and approximate a panorama (yes I am THAT old ;))
