The history of North End Cemetery

Waves over Bird Rock
A couple of weeks ago the sea was slightly angry one morning and as I was driving down Marine Drive I noticed that the waves out Pollok Beach way looking quite impressive. Grabbed my camera and headed over to Lovers' Lane, snapping the waves smashing right over Bird Rock.

Empty highway
Some abandoned highway somewhere after the outbreak of the zombie apocalypse? Nope, the N2 just past Coega, taken from the overpass at just the right time to show an empty road.

Giraffe at Kragga Kamma
Addo Elephant National Park, as with all National Parks, has a policy to only have animals that occurred there naturally. Giraffes didn't thus you won't find them in the park. The best place to see them though is at the Kragga Kamma Game Park just outside Port Elizabeth.

A historic walk around Graaff-Reinet
History buffs totally love Graaff-Reinet, what with it being the oldest town in the Eastern Cape (fourth oldest in South Africa) with about 220 listed historical buildings. Best of all, you can see just about all the best ones on a relatively short walk around town. And obviously, that is what we did otherwise I wouldn't be writing about it.
