Female Njala

Njala (Tragelaphus angasii) are very shy antelope and normally hide in the bush. On my last visit to Seaview Game and Lion Park this female Njala was standing next to the road on the way out and allowed me to stop to take a couple of pics before she quietly disappeared into the bush again.

She's a beauty. I didn't see any of these. Maybe cause they're so shy.

  2. What a lovely shot Jonker. In Kruger the female nyala's often mingle with the impala.

That explains it. I caught a glimpse of one and thought it was a bushbuck. Only thing is that it did not look like a bush buck. Will know better next time.
