Cubata ribs, probably the best in town

There are a couple of restaurants around town that serve really good ribs.  The one at the top of my list at the moment is Cubata in Sydenham close to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.  It was one of the dinner stops on the #PERocks bloggers trip and I got the opportunity to try out more than just an order of ribs.  The kitchen is manned by the owner’s two sons and these two guys churn out some really tasty food.

3kg’s of ribs delivered to the table along with chicken, prawns, chips and Portuguese bread

Carnage… the aftermath of tucking in.  We seriously hurt those rib and prawn plates

I've heard the ribs at Cubata are to die for. We have to make a plan to get there one day.

Looks like more would be in order.

Those ribs are just swimming in sauce, just the way I like it! And it’s even accompanied by my other favorite comfort foods, prawn and chicken! I guess those two didn’t last long, since you weren’t able to snap a picture before the aftermath. Haha! Anyway, thanks you for sharing this delicious post with us. Have a great day!Hector Keller @ Shorty Small’s

My mouth started watering just looking at these pictures. I am so jealous! It is winter now and I will not be able to go out and try this recipe on the grill for a few months. I am definitely going to have to save this until I have a bunch of friends over who can eat them all. Thank you for posting this!Cristopher @ Lamoraga Restaurant
